Remember when designing folded leaflets make sure you are still adding the key factors that make your design sell. Big images sell, people relate to visual messages so using an image as the focus of your design will appeal to end users. You will find when you are designing folded leaflets you will have a lot more space, but don’t be shy on those images!
Promotion is one of the most popular ways to bring in customers. End users who use your designs will want to offer discounts to tempt customers in so be sure to include areas where offers can be personalised on the front and inside.
Include copy that’s relevant to the sector will increase the chance of a sale. However, the end user will be put off by large blocks of text, so it’s best to have a small amount and make the text look interesting.
Make sure your design is as fully editable as possible, the more likely the end user can edit the more likely you are going to sell it.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the TemplateCloud API in 12 countries and 9 languages. The TemplateCloud API allows online print shops and entrepreneurs like you to add thousands of designer templates to your existing website. You choose which designs to sell from a range of print items like business cards, flyers and postcards. By embedding our advanced editor into your site, your client can personalise the design, upload photos or browse 14 million free images. When your client checks out, we make a print-ready PDF automatically for you to print on your own presses or send to a supplier.
It’s easy to integrate and low-cost, packages start from £695 up front and £99 a month.
All TemplateCloud designs are crowd-sourced from our community of real designers. Designers use Adobe InDesign to build their template – no plugins required. They upload their finished file to TemplateCloud.com and our automatic process converts their design into an online editable template in minutes. Designs that sell best have industry-specific marketing copy and striking images, so we encourage designers to invest time in each piece.
Each time their design is sold, we pay the designer a royalty – even if we translate it into a different language. Some of our top designers have already earned more than £5,000.
To date, TemplateCloud offers 10,000 templates and counting, giving your client unrivalled creative choice.
